METOCHEM UC-602
       ( Multi Metal cleaner cum degreaser )
DESCRIPTION: METOCHEM UC-602 is an alkaline liquid chemical consisting of surfactants, dispersants and corrosion inhibitors. It is a multipurpose cleaning agent, widely used for removal of soils, oils, cutting fluids, stamping, buffing and drawing compounds from ferrous as well as non-ferrous metal surfaces. METOCHEM UC 602 is easily soluble in water at all proportions and is very safe to use as it does not contain any chlorinated solvents, phenols, chromates, nitrites or cresols. It is nontoxic and bio-degradable. METOCHEM UC -602 can be used by wipe, immersion or spray in various types of cleaning equipments such as tumblers, vibrators, agitators, power washers, steam cleaners, immersion or agitated tanks, ultrasonic or vapour cleaners etc. Since METOCHEM UC-602 contains corrosion inhibitors, no rinse is required after cleaning hence it cleans and protects simultaneously. Protection period may depend on operating parameters and indoor conditions. Its cleaning action produces a bright polished surface.

USES: 1. For degreasing and cleaning of ferrous parts and components prior to phosphating, blackening, plating etc.

2. For cleaning of multi-metal assemblies.

3. For removal of various contaminants such as oils, grease, etc. from painted as well as nonpainted surfaces.

APPLICATION:

A) Immersion process for metals :- Depending on the type and amount of soils present on the metal surface the following guideline should be followed:- Concentration Temperature Time (Minutes) 5% to 20% (50 to 100 ml/litre) 60-95???C 5-20 .

B) By Ultrasonic cleaning for metals & non-metals:- The following guidelines should be followed depending on the degree of contamination:- Concentration Temperature Time (Minutes) 3% to 20% (30 to 100 ml/litre) Room Temp. to 75 C 2-20 (P.T.O.)
C) By Spray Cleaning (Only for jet spray cleaning):-

Concentration Temperature Time (Minutes) Pressure 0.1% to 0.5% Room Temp. to 60 C 1-5 2-20 kg/cm²

D) By Swabbing or Wiping:- A 10-25 % solution of METOCHEM UC-602 with water may be used by swab or wipe using a cloth or cotton waste. Application may be repeated if necessary.

E) By Circulation:- For cleaning of pipes, tubes or enclosed areas METOCHEM UC-602 solution may be circulated with help of pump at following parameters Concentration Temperature Time (Minutes) Pressure 0.1% to 2%(v/v) Room Temp. to 60 C 5-15 At very low flow rates

METOCHEM-UC-601 (Multi Metal cleaner cum degreaser) DESCRIPTION : METOCHEM-UC-601 is an universal cleaning composition which could be used be very safely on any metal or assemblies. It can be used for general cleaning for removal of oils, soils, fabricating fluids, burrs, buffing and drawing compounds etc. It is extremely safe to handle and contains no toxic or hazardous constituents and is neither inflammable nor poisonous. It is a solvent based neutral cleaner which can be readily mixed with water in all proportions. METOCHEM-UC-601 can be used by wipe, or immersion in various types of equipments such as ultrasonics, tumblers, agitated tanks. No rinse is mandatory after cleaning with METOCHEM-UC 601 and hence it cleans and protects simultaneously. It can be used as a spray cleaner in service stations and maintenance depots at very low concentrations very effectively, but should not be used in spray washing machines. This composition is bio-degradable and environment friendly. USES : 1. For cleaning of multimetal assemblies. 2. For cleaning of finished components, painted equipments and for all equipments and machinery before delivery. 3. For degreasing of ferrous or non-ferrous parts prior to pickling, phosphating, blackening, chromating or electroplating etc.

METOCHEM-NF (Alkaline cleaner for metals and non-metals) METOCHEM-NF is a water soluble alkaline degreasing cum cleaning compound. It is mainly used for cleaning of metals prior to anodising, blackening, electroplating, galvanising, phosphating, tinning, etc. It removes oils, light grease, dirt, soils etc. very effectively without attacking or damaging the base surface. USES: It is widely used for degreasing and cleaning of all ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, brass, copper, zinc, tin, bronze, etc. prior to electroplating, phosphating, blackening, anodising, tinning, etc. It is also used for cleaning of metals and non-metals such as plastic, glass etc. either at room temperature or hot. METOCHEM-NF can be used as an electrolytic cleaner, spray cleaner and in ultrasonic cleaning machines. It is widely used for cleaning of equipments prior to assembly and for maintenance jobs. 

METOCHEM MS-2 (Heavy Duty Cleaner for Ferrous Metals) METOCHEM MS-2 is a highly alkaline cleaner used for removal of heavy duty grease, oil, dirt, drawing compounds, and carbon deposits from ferrous metals only. USES : It is used for removal of carbon deposits burnt oils from pistons, engine blocks etc. METOCHEM MS-2 is used for heavy duty degreasing of ferrous parts and components by hot immersion process prior to metal finishing processes. It is also used for cleaning oil tankers and various industrial equipments made of mild steel.
