METOCHEM-WS

(For Removal of Water Scale Deposits, Cleaning Boilers, Heat Exchangers etc.)

DESCRIPTION:                                                                                                                  

METOCHEM-WS is an inhibited acidic composition formulated for rapid removal of water scale deposits in the heat transfer equipments, condensers, economisers, evaporators, water tube boilers, compressors, etc.

PROPERTIES:                                                                                                                  

It reduces maintenance cost and is more efficient than mechanical or hand cleaning.  It also reduces labour requirements.  METOCHEM-WS can reach those corners and crevices where manual or mechanical cleaning is impossible.  The removal of scale allows heat transfer to take place more readily as small deposits of scale cause insulation with a resultant heat loss.

Normally the scale left from water in heat transfer equipments is composed of Calcium or Magnesium carbonates, Sulphates, Phosphates, Silicates and Iron Oxide.  METOCHEM-WS dissolves the majority of these deposits and insoluble constituents are loosened sufficiently to allow the deposits to be flushed off.               

APPLICATION:

There are two simple methods of using METOCHEM-WS for cleaning equipments, pipes, tubes etc. either circulation or soaking.  It is added to the equipment as the water is running into the system to be treated.  If necessary, the solution can be heated to 50°C for rapid action.  However higher temperatures of more than 60°C should be avoided.

Metochem WS is an inhibited mildly acidic chemical with powerful surfactants which are non-dangerous to metals like Copper, Aluminium, M.S. as well as non metals such as plastic or rubber. It removes mud, dirt, dust etc. sticking to the metal surfaces along with oxidised stains and scales.
