METOCHEM MS-2(60-90/- PER KG) is a highly alkaline cleaner used for removal of heavy duty grease, oil, dirt, drawing compounds, and carbon deposits from ferrous metals only. USES : It is used for removal of carbon deposits burnt oils from pistons, engine blocks etc. METOCHEM MS-2 is used for heavy duty degreasing of ferrous parts and components by hot immersion process prior to metal finishing processes. It is also used for cleaning oil tankers and various industrial equipments made of mild steel. APPLICATION : A) For Heavy Duty Degreasing : METOCHEM MS-2 solution will remove heavy duty grease, oil, rust preventives, lubricants, drawing and stamping compounds etc. The following guideline should be followed for efficient cleaning
The solution can be prepared in a M.S. tank or container. After cleaning the parts must be washed off with clean overflowing water.

B) For Removal of Carbon deposits and burnt oils : For best results, the parts are immersed in a 20% boiling solution of METOCHEM MS-2 in M.S. tank for 1 hour and then allowed to remain there for another 8 hours or the parts are soaked overnight in a 5% - 10% solution of METOCHEM MS-2 in M.S. tank or Plastic container. The parts are then taken out, scrubbed and flushed off with water jet.
